01 / Challenge
Programmatic content at scale is a graveyard of penalized sites. The owner wanted to publish 7,000+ city-specific pages targeting STR investors, at a volume that requires automation, at a quality bar that requires editorial. Most attempts at this fail by being too templated, too thin, or both. The site also needed to monetize three different channels without compromising user experience.
02 / Approach
We built a content engineering system: a content schema with editorial guardrails, automated data ingestion (occupancy, ADR, regulations, seasonality) hydrating each page with real signal, AI-augmented narrative writing layered on top of the structured data, human editorial review at the template and sample-page level, and a monetization layer (affiliate, display, lead-gen) routed by intent.

03 / Results
All 7,087 city pages went live with deep technical hygiene and no quality-classifier penalties. Peak monthly traffic reached 1.4 million sessions. The property monetizes across three channels with no single point of dependency, and the content engine continues producing without manual content ops.
- 7,087 programmatic city pages live, all indexed
- 1.4M monthly organic sessions at peak
- Three monetization channels integrated without UX degradation
- Zero manual actions or helpful-content classifier issues
- Content engine continues producing without ongoing manual operations
“Everyone said you couldn't do this at scale without getting penalized. We did. The trick is treating each page like a real page.”Founder, STR Content Property
